Teton Mobility Corridor Improvements BUILD Grant Project press release

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wilson School Underpass will have a lane shift at 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 18. Traffic in both directions will be paused for about 10 minutes, according to a press release.

“This approximate 10-minute pause in traffic will enable contractors to safely shift traffic from the detour back to WY22 and over the new Wilson School Underpass tunnel,” the press release states. “The traffic pattern shift will take place with the use of tabs delineating lanes as well as any necessary temporary traffic control devices.”

A new westbound turning lane at the intersection of HHR Ranch Road has been created. It is subject to temporary closures for work on the adjacent bike path alignment in the coming weeks, says the press release.

Shoulder closure on both sides of the road will continue over the Wilson School Underpass. The shoulder closure on the south side of WY22 will remain in effect from the Fish Creek Bridge to Stilson.

“We greatly appreciate the public’s understanding and patience as we work to improve travel for everyone in the Teton Region.”
