JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Police Department (JPD) is asking the community to help identify a suspect in a recent burglary at Local Restaurant and Bar.

On Sept. 28 at about 4 a.m a male suspect entered Local and stole cash from the safe, according to a press release issued by Lt. Russ Ruschill this afternoon, Oct. 5.

The suspect was seen on a nearby security camera driving a white Ford 1995 F-150 with Idaho plates, C3921. Detectives have since learned that the truck was stolen from a parking lot in Idaho Falls, about two hours before it the robbery.

According to the release, the suspect is likely a Caucasian or Hispanic male, slender build, about 5’5″-5’10” and likely between 20-30 years old. The truck has a silver toolbox mounted on the driver’s side bed and a blue hand cart in the bed.  The truck has a black logo with the outline of the State of Idaho on the passenger’s side door.

JPD is asking anyone with information about the suspect, truck or if they witnessed anything in the downtown area in the early morning hours of Sept. 28 to reach out to Detective John Ware or Detective Amanda White by calling the Crim Stoppers line, (307) 733-5148.

Information may be provided anonymously and information leading to an arrest or conviction could be eligible for a reward, says JPD.
