TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will open to visitors on Friday, Nov. 24, with its Teewinot and Après Vous lifts operating, the resort announced Tuesday.

The resort’s announcement reports that continuous snowmaking, 62 inches of snowfall on the summit and 33 inches of snowfall mid-mountain have created “coverage across much of the north side of the resort.”

“JMHR will open a variety of terrain connected by two lifts on Opening Day: Teewinot and Après Vous,” the announcement said. “Using these two lifts, visitors will have the opportunity to access a collection of beginner and intermediate terrain. Early season conditions still exist and all guests are advised to stay out of closed areas and look for hazards.”

Additional operations updates are expected ahead of the Dec. 2 weekend, according to the resort.

“We’re ready to welcome our guests to our 2023-24 season at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Opening Day!”JHMR President Mary Kate Buckley said in a statement. “Lift service will be limited, and we urge caution, as early season conditions exist. The weather forecast provides for cold temperatures, ideal for continued snowmaking and grooming and improved conditions.”
