JHMR opens longest season ever and launches new app

JACKSON, Wyo. — The wait is over. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort lifts start spinning today and don’t stop until April 12.

Winter 2019/20 will be JHMR’s longest on record — 137 days from Thanksgiving through Easter Sunday (April 12).

“It’s been a busy summer and fall packed full of operational enhancement projects, said JHMR President Mary Kate Buckley. “We’re ready for a great winter ahead and look forward to putting JHMR’s new improvements to work.”

One such improvement is a new app from JHMR: JH Insider. The app allows skiers and riders access to valuable resort information for smark decision-making. The new JH Insider App is available for download from both Apple and Google, or find it on JHMR’s website. JHMR encourages all guests, particularly those skiing and riding in the early season, to stay current on mountain statuses, lift operations, weather reports, grooming conditions, traffic reports and more.

JHMR will open Teewinot, Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude mid-station and Après Vous lifts at 9 a.m. today, with additional lifts and terrain scheduled to open throughout the week as snow and weather conditions allow.
