TETON VILLAGE, WY— Buckle your helmets; it’s adventure time at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The bike park and the Grand Adventure Park will open for the summer season this Saturday, June 9. Start your summer with a weekend full of fun at JHMR.
The Grand Adventure Park includes mountain biking, riding the tram, tackling the ropes course, climbing the rock wall and much more. It is, truly, a grand adventure in Teton Village. There’s something for the entire family. (Grand Adventure Park does not include the Via Ferrata – that opens June 16).
And, of course, JHMR’s mountain biking trails are not to be missed. JHMR has been working hard with Gravity Logic to map, design and build the best mountain bike destination in the Tetons. Options abound for every type of mountain biker, from the novice rider to the pros and semi-pros. Sail over tabletops, flow around corners and hop on Teewinot lift for a five-minute ride back to the top. JHMR also offers bike rentals, tours, and lessons with Moutain Sports School.
To top the weekend off, JHMR is hosting “Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day” at the Bike Park Sunday, June 10 from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Along with partners Mountain Biking in the Tetons and IMBA (Internati0nal Mountain Bicycling Association), Hoback Sports will offer free Bike Park lift tickets and rentals to kids 17 and under. JH Sports will also offer some free bike rentals for kids as availability allows. They’ll also have half-price lift tickets and rentals for adults accompanying a child in two-hour increments.
