JACKSON, Wyo. — The intersection of West Gill Ave. and North Jackson St. will be closed today, Feb. 11 for a private construction project.

The Rusty Parrot at 175 N Jackson St. is in the midst of an extensive construction project. The road closure is necessary for staging and erecting a crane for construction. In November of 2019, the Rusty Parrot burned nearly to the ground after a natural gas fireplace caught the deck on fire. Owner Ron Harrison chose architects, Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design (R+B) to rebuild the iconic building. Reopening is slated for the spring of 2022.

The closure on Gill starts on the west side of the intersection of Millward, running west. The closure on Jackson St. starts just north of Deloney and runs north. Local and business traffic only.
