Editor’s note: The store will remain open until late March or early to mid April and will not be closing on Feb. 25 as originally reported.
JACKSON, Wyo. – The locally owned and operated boutique store will be permanently shutting its doors as its owners Jeff and Lou Anne Roush plan to retire.
Wyoming Outfitters sells western and outdoor lifestyle wear. It was originally opened in Jackson Hole in the 1960s and then closed for a period of time before the Roushs brought it back.
All clothing and accessories in the store are currently on sale, in addition to the tables, decorations, shelving and fixtures. The Roushs plan on donating or gifting anything that doesn’t get sold.
After the store closes, the Roushs will stay local to ski, fish, camp and travel through the state. “I plan to do everything that we moved here to do,” Jeff Roush says.
