JACKSON, Wyo. — Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree now that its day has come and gone?
Don’t throw it away! Instead, bring your undecorated tree to either the Trash Transfer Station or the Rodeo/Fair Grounds. Residents can dispose of undecorated trees for free. Instead of ending up in a landfill, Christmas trees will be chipped and used as fuel.
Be sure to find the designated area at the Rodeo/Fair Grounds. It will be marked.
Commercial entities hauling Christmas trees must use the Trash Transfer Station and will be charged $83/ton.
