JACKSON, Wyo. — Construction projects continue to unfold at Snow King Mountain, with helicopter activity scheduled to end on Friday

Currently, a helicopter is conducting log and tree removal on the mountain. Trails in the vicinity of logging operations are closed to the public.

However, the “Sink or Swim” trail is open after the helicopter is finished for the day after 5 p.m.

Helicopter log removal had originally been scheduled for completion today.

“It looks like the helicopter log removal is going to continue through Friday, they still have a fair amount more work to go,” said Ryan Stanley, general manager at Snow King Mountain Resort.

“Trees are flying on Snow King Mountain. Trails will be closed during helicopter operations for your safety,” said Snow King in an Instagram post.
