JACKSON, Wyo. — Nighttime drivers, a word of caution.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) crews will be installing new, upgraded signal heads at the intersection of South Park Loop Road and Broadway Ave. (near the Maverik gas station) beginning Monday evening.
Crews are scheduled to start working at 10 p.m. and work until 6 a.m. to avoid commuter hours. The project is expected to take two nights to complete, but they could wrap up after just one.
“During the work, signals will be flash mode, and traffic impacts should be minimal,” WYDOT’s Friday announcement states.
Drivers should be on the lookout for roadside workers. When the traffic signals are flashing, the intersection should be treated as a four-way stop.
