JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson will close a number of roads on July 3-4 for Fourth of July festivities.

Deloney Ave. between Cache and Center will be closed beginning at 2 p.m. on July 3 to prepare for the Lion’s Club July Fourth Breakfast.

On July 4, Center Street and the roads along the parade route from the Fairgrounds, down Glenwood to the Town Square will be closed.

During the Patriotic Pops Concert at The Center from 6-9 p.m., the portion of South Cache between Simpson Ave. and the Alley north of Kelly Ave. will be closed.

Following the fireworks display at Snow King at 10 p.m., the Jackson Police will direct traffic on Snow King Avenue in a one-way pattern heading west. Please plan accordingly.

The town is urging the community to bike, walk, or use the START Town Shuttle to reduce congestion and limit pollution.

“In many instances, bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be moving faster than vehicle traffic,” said the town in a press release announcing the closures.
