JACKSON, Wyo. — Fresh pow sometimes comes with driving interruptions.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has scheduled a closure of US191/189 through Hoback Canyon (between Jackson and Pinedale, mileposts 148 to 164) for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for avalanche mitigation.
“Additional closures may be necessary depending on weather conditions,” WYDOT’s announcement states. “Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increasing avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure.”
