JACKSON, Wyo. — Construction crews are preparing to resume the Gregory Lane rebuild project, with material deliveries and milling to take place next week.

In an email update sent from the Town of Jackson Engineering Division at the end of March, Associate Engineer Jeff Silliman wrote that the contractor has confirmed arrival for next week. Crews are expected to begin delivering equipment and materials to the area beginning on Monday, April 6. Construction is scheduled to begin with milling of the road surface on Wednesday, April 8.

While street milling takes place, expect large vehicles and equipment in the roadway. An alternating single lane of traffic will be open with flaggers from V-O Lane to just north of the Teton County School District (TCSD) stadium entrance.

Starting Monday, April 13, utility excavation will begin and a road closure will be in effect from Martin Lane to the TCSD stadium entrance. Detour signage will be placed in the area to guide traffic around the closure. Like last summer’s construction, the work will progress to the north, with access adjusted and signs placed as necessary.
