TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — This week at Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) offers a little something for everyone!

Kick off the weekend on Thursday with Alive@Five in Teton Village featuring Trombone Trifecta, then enjoy two nights of Festival Ochestra shows on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday and Saturday nights, witness Maestro Runnicles’ multi-season exploration of the symphonies of Brahms continues with No. 4 and another evocative companion work by Detlev Glanert. Longtime GTMF friend James Ehnes completes this Brahms program with the violin concerto, an expansive symphony in its own right.

Program

Detlev Glanert: Weites Land
Brahms: Violin Concerto
Brahms: Symphony No. 4

Catch this program on Friday, August 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 16 at 6 p.m.

Join GTMF for a pre-concert talk an hour before each performance with Stoner Family Education Curator Meaghan Heinrich in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall’s north entrance. Talks are sponsored by the Goodman Family Foundation, in memory of Roy and Barbara Goodman.

Tickets range from $40-$85 for adults and are $5 for children and students.
