TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) will host a performance by Brazilian musicians Clarice and Sérgio Assad on Thursday, July 11 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Part of “Brazil’s First Family of Music,” pianist/vocalist Clarice Assad and guitarist Sérgio Assad share their timeless passion for music composition and performance, together reimagining old classics and writing new works as a collaborative team.

The duo play a wide arrange of genres, from jazz and the Brazilian choro to bossa nova and classical.


After touring for over a decade with the Assad family in such prestigious venues as the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, the Palais de Beaux Arts in Belgium and Le Casino de Paris in Paris, Sérgio and Clarice Assad embarked on a duo project and have toured extensively in the US and recorded a duo album called “Relíquia.” Most recently, the duo began a collaboration with Third Coast Percussion, recording the CD “Archetypes,” which has received wonderful accolades from Classics TodayDC MetroClassical Music Sentinel and Gramophone.
