JACKSON, Wyo. — Grand Teton National Park is set to open its first campground for the season next Friday. The Gros Ventre Campground will open on April 30, under the park’s new advanced reservation system.
Advanced reservations opened to the public on January 26 with additional sites being made available on April 16. Most campsites will be open beginning April 30 and on June 8, every site in the campground will be open.
Availability is filling up quickly with more reservations being made each day as people begin to plan their summer trips.
Only about 5% of the campground is still available for advanced reservations from July 1 through July 11 at the Gros Ventre campground. Reservations can be made for all of the GTNP campsites here.
