JACKSON, Wyo. — The next phase of the Gregory Lane rebuild project is set to begin next month, with street milling and utility excavation on deck for the first half of April.

According to an emailed update from the Town of Jackson Engineering Division, crews are expected to begin street milling on Gregory Lane the week of April 6. Utility excavation is planned for the following week. Road closures are likely during those time periods, though additional details will be provided before construction begins. The schedule will depend on a number of factors, including weather and delivery of materials.

“Heavy equipment will mobilize the week of May 6 signaling the start of the 2026 Gregory Lane Rebuild project,” reads the announcement. “Expect construction to generally progress north from the [Teton County School District] stadium entrance.”

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, reduce speed, follow lane shifts, and to obey traffic flaggers, construction notifications, and detour restrictions.
