ALTA, Wyo. — Thanks for another great season at Grand Targhee!
Celebrate with some VIPs at closing weekend festivities on Saturday, April 18, before the last day of skiing, which will be Sunday, April 19.
Homecoming party for Olympic Hometown Hero Jaelin Kauf!
Toast to Silver Jae at a welcome home party for Olympic hometown hero Jaelin Kauf! From 12 to 4 p.m., enjoy drinks and music on the Trap deck with the opportunity to get a signed poster from Jaelin and welcome her back to her local ski hill.
After earning two Olympic silver medals in the 2026 Olympics, Jaelin has officially become the most decorated female mogul skier in Olympic history, and we couldn’t be more proud to welcome her home to the Tetons. Come raise a glass, grab a poster, and help celebrate Jaelin’s unforgettable season with the mountain community that has cheered her on every step of the way.
First annual Targhee Treasure Run
This year, the resort is doing something a little different to send off the season. The first annual “Targhee Treasure Run” will be an all-day scavenger hunt for participants to win amazing prizes like season passes, guided fishing trips and more! This family-friendly event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and requires a $10 donation to the non-profit of your choice. Check out the event page the Targhee website for more details.
Treasure Run markers will be located in the Dreamcatcher pod and Shoshone pod of Fred’s Mountain! There will also be a few markers in the base area for those who aren’t riding the mountain but still came for the vibes! The goal is to find the markers and collect stamps. The more stamps collected, the more raffle tickets earned! Participants then get to choose what raffle items they want to use their tickets for! Details below!
