Grand Targhee delays opening

ALTA, Wyo. — Grand Targhee will not open this Friday, Nov. 19.

While the resort did not outline a new opening date, a newsletter announcing the delay said, “our new opening day is yet to be determined but will be based upon the conditions going forward. All eyes are on the approaching storm this Friday. Stay tuned.”

The announcement cited warm temperatures and lack of snowfall the delayed opening.

“Start doing your best snow dance,” said the newsletter.
