CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mark Gordon’s office has established a new website “Governor’s Mental Health Summit & More.” The site includes an overview of the governor’s recent participation in a mental health summit on Oct. 11, webinars and links to mental health resources available in the state.
According to his office, Gordon “remains committed to furthering the conversation and working towards solutions that improve behavioral health services in the state.”
Gordon is also participating in the Governor’s Challenge, a nationwide campaign to prevent suicide among service members, veterans and their families (SMVF).
According to the Governor’s office, the site will serve as an additional resource and opportunity for those in the mental health field – as well as the general public – to stay informed about work taking place in the behavioral health services space.
