JACKSON, Wyo. — The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming organization is hosting an info session at the Teton County Library on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event is designed for girls interested in joining the organization and adults interested in volunteering.

“Girls will experience what a real Girl Scout meeting is like by taking part in an engaging STEM craft, while adults learn more about the Girl Scout program, the many ways to volunteer, and how to support a troop,” the press release states.

Attendees will be able to ask questions and “see firsthand how Girls Scouts helps build confidence, curiosity, leadership skills and a strong sense of community” for the girls and adults involved in the organization.

The event gives residents a chance to learn more about the organization and the potential benefits of joining the Girl Scouts. No prior experience with Girl Scouts is needed and all girls and adults interested are encouraged to attend.
