JACKSON, Wyo. — This summer, community members are invited to the many programs hosted at the Jackson Hole Land Trust’s (JHLT) community open spaces: R Park and the Greenspace on the Block. The programs are designed to foster learning, creativity and a sense of community.

In partnership with other local nonprofits, the JHLT will host programs through Sept. 13. By bringing together the expertise and resources of multiple organizations, these summer programs promise an unforgettable summer experience for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

JHLT encourages all community members to take full advantage of these exciting programs and embark on a summer like no other. Embrace the spirit of adventure, ignite your creativity, and deepen your appreciation for the community open spaces that the Jackson Hole Land Trust protects.

In addition to these engaging programs, the Jackson Hole Land Trust is hosting two volunteer days throughout the summer, providing an excellent opportunity for folks to contribute time and skills towards the maintenance of these JHLT community open spaces. Whether it is trail maintenance, trash pickup or invasive species removal, volunteering makes a meaningful impact and contributes to the overall care of our community open spaces, ensuring they remain accessible, beautiful and sustainable for all to enjoy.

JHLT volunteer days:

  • Thursday, June 15, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at R Park.
  • Saturday, Aug. 5, 9:30 to11:30 a.m. at R Park

Let’s make this summer a time of connection and conservation. By participating in the programs offered in partnership with the valley organizations or engaging in volunteer opportunities provided by the land trust, we can ensure that our community open spaces remain a source of inspiration, relaxation, and beauty for generations to come.
