JACKSON, Wyo. — Is there anything better than scoring a great deal at the Ski Swap? The answer is no. (And yes we considered getting married, the birth of children, paying off student loans, and buying your first home.)

After a year’s hiatus, the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club (JHSC) is back with their Thai Me Up Ski & Gear Swap this Saturday, Oct. 16. The Ski Swap returns to the Heritage Arena at 305 West Snow King Ave in Jackson, WY where there will be deals so good you’ll be able to afford to live in Jackson Hole for at least another season.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a total Jerry, or looking to outfit the entire family, the Ski Swap has the hardgoods and softgoods you’re looking for. Nordic, alpine, and snowboard. Frontcountry, sidecountry, and backcountry. Race and recreation. The Ski Swap has you covered.

The serious swap shoppers know to look for the random gems: Roof box? Maybe. Snow bike? It’s happened. Monoski? Don’t you wish!

If you have gear to sell, you can drop it off today from 3 – 7 p.m. at JHSC’s offices at Snow King Center (100 East Snow King Ave). NOTE: Gear must be pre-tagged, tags are available at JHSC offices.

You can also drop your gear tomorrow, Oct. 15 at Heritage Arena from noon – 6:30 p.m. Retail pros from JHMR will be on hand to help with pricing (tags will be available on-site).

Important details for a successful Swap:

  • Mask required for everyone at all times
  • Bring your Ski Club Card or JHMR pass for discounted entry
  • Fees to sell gear are $1.00 per item with a maximum of $10.00
  • Pay by card, cash, or a check made out to “JHSC”
  • Swap doors open for the early birds at 7 a.m. and sale ends at 2 p.m. (90 extra minutes of awesomeness this year)

IMPORTANT: if your gear does not sell, it must be picked up between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Oct. 16. All leftover gear is donated and immediately leaves Teton County. Unsold gear can go to Headwall Sports starting Monday, Oct. 18.

Visit jhskiclub.org/skiswap for details on entry fees, Ski Club Cards, schedules, times, locations, what gear is not accepted, to see if your gear sold and more.
