JACKSON, Wyo. — Construction crews have a couple of loose ends to tie up on the newly reopened Garaman Park pathway, and the bike path will likely close temporarily while the project is completed.

According to an update from Teton County Pathways Coordinator Brian Schilling, the contractor plans to begin work Wednesday afternoon and continue through Friday. The segment of bike path is undergoing some safety upgrades, and crews will be working on stamping rumble strips into the asphalt, as well as color treating the pavement.

Schilling said in the emailed update that there could be “short-duration closures in limited areas” from Wednesday to Friday. He plans to work with the contractor to avoid closing the entire pathway. But it is still likely that some people will need to reroute onto US89 for the detour.
