JACKSON, Wyo. — Jason Bruni has been hired by the Fund for Public Education as its new executive director.
Bruni will lead fundraising and programming initiatives supporting Teton County School District #1. Bruni is an active community member and most recently served as the Development Officer with Teton Habitat.
“The impact the Fund has on student experiences such as the TCSD food program, early education literacy, and mental health care and is inspiring in many ways,” said Bruni.
Bruni received a full public education and hopes to combine his love of the local community and appreciation for teachers by working in partnership with TCSD #1.
Superintendent Gillian Chapman expressed her excitement about welcoming Bruni to the FFPE.
“The partnership between TCSD and the Fund is vital to the future of our district, especially now as we seek funding and support for several important projects including the bleacher replacement at McIntosh Stadium, employee housing, and the Bronc Achievement Center in addition to all the amazing things the Fund does for our schools on a day to day basis including securing funding for student meals, live performances and general support for classrooms and teachers.”
President of FFPE, Annie Band also sang praises of Bruni.
“[He is a] motivated, enthusiastic and philanthropic individual who prioritizes the wellbeing of our local youth and educators,” said Band.
