JACKSON, Wyo. — Wildflower season is in full bloom, and interested gardeners can get their hands on free wildflower seeds this week at the People’s Market.

Visitors to Wednesday’s edition of the Market can pick up free packets of wildflower seeds, the result of a collaboration between Jackson Hole Public Art, High Mountain Pollinators and Bees, Teton Rental and Community Entry Services.

Teton Rental created and donated a local seed mix to commemorate JH Public Art’s summer theme of pollinators.

“Teton Rental is always looking to source great products that work in the Teton Range Area,” Teton Rental President Zach Vosika said in a press release. “We are happy to spread the word about our native grasses and wildflower mixes. Donating to this cause is great for the community to help everyone understand that native flowers are what belong here.”

The seed mix will include Lewis flax, Arrowleaf balsamroot, Western yarrow, Northern sweetvetch and more.

Members of High Mountain Pollinators and Bees will also be present to educate marketgoers about its beekeeping efforts.

Grab a free packet of wildflower seeds from the Jackson Hole Public ArtMobile, where artist Ava Reynolds’ Tiny Art Gallery Collective will be facilitating an art project. Suzanne Morlock will also be on hand to discuss her pollinator-themed sculpture project.

The People’s Market runs every Wednesday through Sept. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Center for the Arts Lawn, 265 S. Cache St.
