JACKSON, Wyo. — Curious about snow conditions and avalanche activity amid this slow start to winter?

Teton County Search and Rescue and Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center (BTAC) will host a series of State of the Snowpack presentations this winter, beginning with a free event at Headwall Sports at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024.

BTAC forecaster Mike Rheam will provide snowpack updates. Free pizza and beer will be on hand for attendees.

The event will recur every other Wednesday through Feb. 14.
