JACKSON, Wyo. — Snowmobilers, it’s time to brush up on avalanche safety.
Advocates for Multi-Use of Public Lands (AMPL) is hosting Moto Avy Night, a free educational event for motorized winter recreationists. Presentations by Teton County Search and Rescue, Bridger Teton Avalanche Center, the Mountain Riding Lab, local athletes and avalanche professionals will focus on avalanche education specifically for snowmobilers and snowbikers.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Virginian Lodge. Expect a raffle, too.
