WYOMING – FoundSpace artist Bland Hoke could use a little help over the next few days. He is building the Isle of Treepoli in R Park this week and is in need of a few helping hands to bring his project to life.

Bland will be in R Park in the afternoons for the next several days and hopes community members will help him gather and expand his project.

The Isle of Treepoli is a construct of the imagination, perched strategically in the trees atop an island. Watch out for Treepolonians, who can be seen traversing the rope bridges, peeking out of small homes and cultivating an existence amidst the trees. They welcome you to contribute small offerings or infrastructure to make connections between their world with ours.

The Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT), in partnership with JH Public Art, invites the community to join six local artists at the fifth annual FoundSpace installation at Rendezvous Park (R Park) in Wilson. The event will kick off on June 21 at R Park’s Annual Summer Solstice Celebration.

‘Isle of Treepoli’ is going to be pretty cool and you have a chance to help the artist install the project. (JH Public Art)
