JACKSON, Wyo. – The work on the Flat Creek Bridge originally scheduled to begin Monday has been postponed at least a week, due to the social distancing recommendations made by local governments and the state.

The project, which will focus on upgrading the deck and abutments, is part of a district-wide bridge rehabilitation effort.

When the work begins, drivers can expect to see lane closures and reduced access.  Businesses throughout the project limits will be limited to right-in, right-out at their approaches and access to Hoback Sports and Dollar Tree from Broadway will be closed for the duration of the work. Pathways and sidewalks within the work zone will be closed as well. Customers can access those businesses from the approach on Flat Creek Drive.

Crews and WYDOT will re-evaluate the climate each week and adjust the work schedules accordingly.
