VICTOR, Idaho — The Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that occurred near Victor on Saturday, June 8, according to a statement issued by the agency on Sunday.
The single-vehicle collision happened around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday at 664 W and 6000 South in Teton County, according to the statement.
“Two juveniles were traveling westbound on 6000 S near Victor, Idaho, driving a red Suzuki King Quad 750 when they struck a tree,” the statement said. “Both juveniles were ejected from the ATV.”
One rider was transported to a local hospital in an ambulance, and the other was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
“One juvenile succumbed to their injuries at the hospital,” the statement said.
Police have not released any information about the ages or identities of the minors involved in the crash. The incident remains under investigation. State Police noted that Teton County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the situation.
