Elk begin to disperse from the Refuge—wolf helps out

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Elk are on the move away from the Refuge after supplemental feeding ended yesterday. It doesn’t take elk very long to figure out the chow line has closed down.

Josh Metten of Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures promised Buckrail some photos of the great wapiti disbursement as he gets them.

Metten’s guides did manage to capture a stunning video of a black wolf stirring up a herd of elk on the Refuge just a week ago.
