JACKSON, Wyo. — Earth Day is on the horizon, Jackson, and on Wednesday, April 22, several organizations are offering Earth-friendly gatherings to celebrate.

Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities (YTCC) is hosting a Clean Commute Earth Day Tailgate Party in the parking lot of Poppy at 120 W Pearl Ave. Representatives of YTCC will be present to share information about “clean commuting” and attendees will have an opportunity to test drive an electric F-150. Complimentary coffee and snacks will be provided.

For those looking to participate in cleaning up green spaces, the Jackson Hole Land Trust will host a local park cleanup at Karns Meadow from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 22. Those interested should plan to bring a reusable water bottle, comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and work gloves.

Both events are free and open to the public. More information is available through the hosting organizations.
