DUBOIS, Wyo. — It’s time to get spirited! The Dubois Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to three full days of Fourth of July celebrations this year.
First, on Thursday, July 3, enjoy Independence Weekend Kick-off with live music from DJ Wells and a wide range of food and beverage options.
Then, the annual Fourth of July parade is back for another year on Friday, July 4. Festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with a Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Dubois Chamber of Commerce, followed by kids Games, touch-a-tank, duck races and more.
At 2 p.m., it’s parade time! The fun begins at Town Park and heads east on Ramshorn. Don’t forget about the Ice Cream Social following the parade, held at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church from 3 to 5 p.m. Then its rodeo time at 7:30 p.m. in the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena.
Fireworks begin at dusk.
Travelers are reminded that Highway 26 will be closed for the parade from approximately 2-2:30 p.m. Those driving on 26 during that timeframe should expect delays in getting through Dubois. The Wyoming Dept. of Transportation and 511 Notify alerts will keep drivers up to date on the closure.
The celebrations continue on Saturday, July 5 with the third annual Independence Day SxS Poker Run. Register between 9-11 a.m ad Grubbin’ and join in on the fun! The party ends at Crooked Creek Guest Ranch and winners will be announced at 7 p.m. with live music to follow.
A second rodeo has also been added for Saturday night!
