JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Solid Waste and Recycling will be holding its Fall Clean Up 2020 during the first week of November. The Town Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off will be held on Friday, November 6 at the Rodeo Grounds and the Trash Transfer Station Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off will be held from Monday, November 2 through Saturday, November 7.

Town Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off
Friday, November 6 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
For one day only, residents can drop off their yard waste at the rodeo grounds. Compostable yard waste may be dropped off in brown compostable bags, other reusable containers, or loose. Limbs and branches may be dropped off unbagged. Plastic garbage bags, trash and dog poop will NOT be accepted and will be sent home with you.

Due to COVID-19, staff will NOT be available to assist with unloading. Please plan accordingly.

Trash Transfer Station Residential Yard Waste Drop-Off
Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6 from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

During this week, the Transfer Station will accept your first 500 pounds of residential yard waste for free if brought in loose or in compostable bags (no plastic bags) or in other reusable containers. After 500 pounds, you will be charged at a rate of $83 per ton or $0.04 per pound. This does NOT apply to businesses.

Free Yard Waste Bags Available at the Following Locations While They Last:

  • Jackson Town Hall: 150 Pearl Ave., 24/7 in the breezeway
  • Public Works Administration: 450 W. Snow King Ave., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. M-F
  • The Recycling Center: 3270 S. Adams Rd., 24/7 by the office door

5th Annual Pumpkin Smash is Cancelled

Please drop pumpkins off at the designated location at the Ridge Grounds on Friday, November 6. Remove decorations and candles prior to drop-off. Pumpkins will be composted locally.
