Dog park should be ready soon

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department will be setting up the seasonal dog park located on the east side of the Teton County Fairgrounds on Snow King Avenue. The anticipated date of opening is Tuesday, November 11. The park will be open until May 1, weather dependent, sunrise to sunset.

PAWS of JH, non-profit partner, will be providing mutt mitts and handling refuse collection for proper disposal. Please be respectful of others using the facility and clean up after your pet.

Parks and Rec recognized the challenges last winter with respect to the depth of the snow and barrier used to create the temporary park. The department has been working with PAWS to create a more functional, safe and secure area for this winter’s use and appreciate the community’s patience.
