JACKSON, Wyo. — Dick’s Ditch is back at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort! The event is set for March 6 through March 8. Dick’s Ditch is a two-day banked slalom competition that runs on the man-made and natural terrain from below Nez Perce down through classic upper Dick’s Ditch to finish. This year’s Dick’s Ditch course will continue to honor the unique character and history of the event, with a nod to classic banked slalom culture.

Friday is an optional inspection day. Saturday’s run is a qualifier for the Sunday finals. Approximately 70% of the field in each category advances to Sunday’s competition. Pro divisions earn cash prizes of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place.

Winners of each category will receive a custom Belt Buckle made for us by the wonderful folks at Molly’s Custom Silver. Any 2025 category winners who have not yet picked up the their buckles for 2025, which arrived over the summer, will also be able to collect those at this year’s registration.

Friday, March 6

Bib pick-up and course inspection

10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Bib-Pick Up/Registration in Hole in the Wall, upstairs in JH Sports.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Course will be open to inspection and run in sections from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., conditions permitting (Traverses that cross the course will remain open).

Saturday, March 7

Dick’s Ditch qualifier

8:30 a.m.: Mandatory competitor meeting will be held at the Events Tent. The start order will be distributed at this meeting.

9:15 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Course inspection will be open for sideslipping only.

10 a.m.: Race Starts. Snowboarding division will start first with skier division following.

Sunday, March 8

Dick’s Ditch finals

9:15 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Course inspection will be open for sideslipping only.

10 a.m.: Finals Day Race Start.

Snowboarding division will start first with skier division following. Pro Divisions only will be allowed two runs, with the best of two counting as the final result. All other divisions will only get one run.

2 p.m.: Estimate for race completion.

3:30 p.m.: Awards at Music Under The Tram Stage weather permitting or Events Tent if stormy.
