VICTOR, Idaho — Needing some Jerry? Then don’t miss The Deadlocks this Thursday at Music on Main and the Victor City Park stage.
Formed in 2010 amid the majestic landscapes of the Tetons, The Deadlocks emerged as a tribute to the iconic Grateful Dead, bringing the legendary band’s concert experience to the heart of the Rockies. Known for their vibrant and faithful renditions, The Deadlocks have positioned themselves as one of the most captivating Dark Star cover bands in the region.
The Deadlocks are a not-to-be-missed night of jamming good times, whether you’re a Deadhead or not! The band’s core lineup features Jeremy Cohen on lead guitar and vocals, Chris Moen on vocals, Ward Blanch on rhythm guitar, and Jed Frumkin on bass and vocals. These foundational members are complemented by a dynamic assortment of drummers and keyboardists, enhancing their sound with a fresh and energetic vibe at every show. The Deadlocks also extend their stage to national touring artists well-versed in the Grateful Dead’s repertoire, creating unique and memorable performances.
The Deadlocks are rooted in Music on Main. They played their inaugural set at the Knotty Pine in 2010 following a Music On Main show. It was at this very event that they found their name—a clever nod to the Grateful Dead’s original moniker, “The Warlocks,” which they had to abandon due to a copyright conflict.
“A Deadlocks production is exciting, immersing, unpredictable, and dynamic. All aspects of the performance—from the instrumentation to the stage layout—are carefully produced to ensure an authentic representation,” JacksonHole.com said of the spirited local group’s performances. With a commitment to authenticity and entertainment, The Deadlocks continue to captivate audiences, ensuring the spirit of the Grateful Dead thrives in every chord they play. Whether you’re a lifelong Deadhead or a newcomer to the scene, a concert with The Deadlocks is an exhilarating step back into music history.
Batdorf and The Brother Wolf start the night at 6:15 p.m.
