Central Wyoming College has a NEW scholarship opportunity that might be for you!
CWC has recently received funding to provide a scholarship to a non-traditional student. The scholarship will cover full tuition and general fees for students enrolled in at least six credits.
The scholarship is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students must fill out a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), meet with the Director of Financial Aid, and meet ANY of the following criteria:
- Delayed enrollment (meaning the student did not enter a post-secondary institution in the same calendar year they graduated high school.)
- Attends part time for at least part of the academic year.
- Works full time (35 hours or more per week) while enrolled.
- Is considered financially independent for purposes of determining eligibility for financial aid.
- Has dependents other than a spouse (usually children, but sometimes others).
- Is a single parent (either not married or legally separated and has dependents).
- Does not have a high school diploma (completed high school with a GED or other school completion certificate or did not finish high school).
Is this your chance? Those interested in this scholarship should call Scott McFarland, Director of Financial Aid, at 307-855-2150.
