JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson (TOJ) Engineering Department announced that all businesses and residences on W Simpson Ave. from Glenwood to S Millward St. will be without water on Monday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

According to the TOJ, a waterline pipe on S. Millward St. south of Pearl St. will be replaced, causing water to be shut off in the area.

To allow for construction crews to complete the pipeline work, the intersection of W Simpson St. and S Millward St. will be closed on Monday until further notice.

TOJ asks that motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians seek alternate routes in the vicinity of the construction activity.

“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers,” TOJ said in the announcement.

The TOJ apologizes to residents and business owners for any inconvenience.
