JACKSON, Wyo. — The deadline for homeowners to apply for the 2026 Homeowners Exemption is approaching.

Teton County sent a press release on Friday reminding those who own a home and live full-time in Wyoming to complete the application for an exemption before March 1. Anyone who owns a house, condo, townhouse, manufactured home or mobile home can qualify for a 25% exemption on the first $1 million of their property’s fair market value.

Applications must be submitted online and can be accessed here. The county stated that those without computer access, or anyone who needs assistance, should visit the Teton County Assessor’s Office inside the County Administration Building at 200 South Willow Street.
