ALPINE, Wyo. —On July 31, Gray Bear Productions and Melvin Brewing will feature high-caliber bands from across the country with a diverse mix of styles like traditional Americana, soul, hip-hop, reggae, funk and country. This intimate live music festival takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in picturesque Alpine, WY, just 45 minutes outside of Jackson.

Surrounded by mountains and a view of the Palisades Lake, stand and dance close to the stage or sit on the lawn or on the deck and enjoy food and drink options for purchase provided by Melvin Brewing.

Shuttles will run to and from Jackson and the venue for $30 round trip or come for the weekend and enjoy one of the many campgrounds or off-grid camping nearby. Free parking is available on site.

Headliner Donavon Frankenreiter brings his three-piece band and unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery.

Dumpstaphunk comes from New Orleans with their distinctive mix of genuine New Orleans funk, old school R&B and guitar-fueled modern rock to make you inclined to dance and inspired to think.

Ethan Tucker’s trademark sound of acoustic roots and layered electric guitars combine with an unmistakable soulful and bluesy vocal.

Little Stranger is an up-and-coming alternative/hip-hop duo with an overall undeniable groove, sure to get you up and moving with a loose reggae beat.

Mountain-reggae gypsy-infused soul band, Cole & The Thornes, of Bozeman Montana, is a funky eclectic group known for their playful horn melodies, islandy ukulele, and sultry, empowering vocals.

Driftwood is a local favorite, based in Star Valley, Wyoming and brings their moving country music to our big stage.
