Combined Yellowstone-Grand Teton park pass going away Lamar River Lamar Valley Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The National Park Service announced it will be discontinuing the combined seven-day entrance pass to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.

At the end of May, one pass will not get you into both parks. Yellowstone and Grand Teton will each require its own pass. NPS says the move is to reduce confusion but given its aborted attempt at drastically hiking gate fees, the decision to charge at both parks appears more about funding the park system.

Starting June 1, a seven-day entrance pass for each park will be:

    • Private, non-commercial vehicle $35
    • Motorcycle $30
    • Individual (by foot, bicycle, etc.) $20
