If reaching the highest point in Wyoming is on your bucket list, Central Wyoming College can help you get there this summer. Join experienced outdoor education instructor Darran Wells and Stacy Wells and challenge yourself in their upcoming Mountaineering Expedition course. From July 23rd to August 4th, the course fee is just $290 (plus tuition).

Gannett Peak is the highest point in Wyoming. It stands 13,810′ and was named in 1906 for American geographer Henry Gannett. Students must pay a non-refundable $150 deposit at the CWC Lander Center to hold their spot and need to be 16 years or older, in good physical condition, able to carry a 45-pound backpack for 5 miles per day in the mountains. No climbing experience necessary.
