JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County residents can now drop off their Christmas trees at the Teton County Fairgrounds.

It is important to note that the tree drop-off at the fairgrounds is for residents only and that trees should be completely undecorated when they are dropped off. Christmas trees will be used in the composting process and diverted from the landfill.

Residents can also deliver trees to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 at no cost through Jan. 31.

Christmas tree loads from commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, must be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US Hwy 89 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fees are $88/ton or 4¢ per pound with a $10 minimum.
