JACKSON, Wyo. — Based at the foot of the Tetons, Children’s Grand Adventure facilitates Healing Through Exploration for those traveling through diagnosis, remission and into survivorship from illness such as cancer and hematology.

Over the course of 15 years, we continue to have the privilege to serve pediatric, youth and adult populations in providing opportunities to manifest, foster and realize the powers of their strength, fortitude and resiliency of their own perseverance, at no cost to them.
After spending so much time in oncologists’ offices and in hospitals, Children’s
Grand Adventure arranges a trip of a lifetime for up to a dozen cancer patients. Every summer, fall and winter, after getting the green light to leave the sterile worlds that they’ve lived in, they travel to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for a weeklong nature trip. This time spent outdoors may be their first. And they get to relish it in some of the best the American West has to offer. They hike through Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, go canoeing or simply gaze at the stars. It’s literally a much-needed breath of fresh air after sometimes years of chemo, radiation and long hospital stays.
