JACKSON, Wyo. — Friends of Pathways (FOP) is hosting a trail cleanup event with the U.S. Forest Service on Saturday at the Cache Creek trailhead.

The first Saturday in June is National Trails Day, and it’s a great time to celebrate the outdoors by putting in some work on one of the valley’s most beloved trails. Those who would like to volunteer for the effort are encouraged to meet at the Cache Creek trailhead at 9 a.m. According to a social media post by FOP, the event will run until noon.

“We’ll be clearing debris, improving drainage, and getting trails dialed for the season ahead,” reads the post. “Whether you’re a regular trail user or just looking for a great way to spend the morning outside, this is a fun and meaningful way to get involved.”

Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toed shoes and bring work gloves and water. Tools, snacks and lunch will be provided.
