MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS, Wyo. — On July 5, Yellowstone National Park (YNP) announced that the deceased female found inside a vehicle on Craig Pass in May died by suicide.
The female was identified as a 38-year-old from Florida.
The vehicle had been driven into a snowbank on May 13, and a male found outside was detained and subsequently arrested for drug possession and other traffic-related charges.
The Teton County Coroner’s Office determined the cause of death. YNP says the incident still remains under investigation.
