Paid for by the Campaign to Support Senior Assisted Living
JACKSON, Wyo. — The closure of Legacy Lodge in 2021 left our community without assisted living for our seniors. We can change that.
A vote for proposition #13 is a vote to re-establish senior assisted living facilities in Teton County. With your support, we can begin the planning and needs assessment work to maintain care for our seniors.
A vote FOR senior assisted living in Teton County is a vote FOR the preservation of our wisdom, our memories and our community character.
Having our seniors here as they age benefits all of us. While they may be retired, seniors continue to make invaluable contributions to the community. They add diverse perspectives, volunteer, preserve our stories, remind us of our values, share their wisdom, and mentor our young. Care for seniors is care for the community. It means grandparents – related by DNA or a love of the Tetons – can also share holidays, celebrations, and simple Tuesday dinners here in Jackson Hole.
With luck, we’ll all be seniors one day!

Learn why your fellow community members are supporting Prop #13:
“As part of a multi-generation family with deep roots in the Jackson Hole Valley, my hope is to always be able to keep our family together, in Jackson Hole, where they belong. That is why I am supporting SPET proposition #13 on November 8. Please join me in voting for this important proposition.”
Jamie Turner
“Our seniors deserve your support. Those who have contributed so much to our community should have the opportunity to stay close to family and friends when they are still functional but need additional support in daily life. Vote FOR Prop #13.”
Dr. Lou Hochheiser
“Ever since the closing of Legacy Lodge in March of 2021, there has been a gap in options for seniors who want to continue to live in our community as they age. With SPET #13 for Assisted Living, we can begin the process of re-establishing assisted living as an option for our senior neighbors and friends.”

Early voting is open at the Teton County Administration Building through Nov. 7. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
