JACKSON, Wyo. — On Friday, Jan. 10, Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling and the Riverwind Foundation announced that up to $4,000 in grants are available to support businesses with community-based sustainability projects.
The total amount is typically shared between two and five awardees, according to the Riverwind Foundation.
One of the application questions asks, “How will the proposed project contribute to our community’s sustainability?”
“The funding will support business leaders whose projects will strengthen their sustainability performance and further our community’s sustainability aspirations,” the Riverwind Foundation said in the announcement.
The Sustainable Business Leaders grants are now available, and only Sustainable Business Leader program members in good standing are eligible to apply. The online SBL Grant Application Form needs to be submitted by 5 p.m. on Feb. 7. Grant funding decisions will be announced on Feb. 14.
